I am interested in using one of these in the remote town in Haiti where nearly half of the children do not attend school. Are there any off-line programs for them to learn English?

Hi @Moyere – that’s a request we’ve gotten frequently and never really found the answer to. I know folks like using duolingo.com where they have access, but we don’t have an open source alternative to that or ‘rosetta stone’ type software. We do have fantastic phonics, which teaches early literacy, but that’s a far cry from vocabulary and grammar training needing for learning english.
