New Deployment for Niger Delta

I would be thrilled to know a bit about how things have progressed in terms of schools and RACHEL in the Niger Delta. Any information you can share will be appreciated! I wonder how the pandemic is affecting things?

I’m a consultant, and currently working with the World Bank on digital education support – as always, it’s part of my role to be skeptical of WB – I would love to have information, as I’m a big fan of RACHEL, but you are welcome to ask me not to share your update with WB; my team includes a person from Kenya, we have information about Kolibri but of course I would love to have more concrete news about hardware and use!

So one of the challenges has been power. Powering both the Rachel Server and the students devices has been a challenge.

Another challenge has been the availability of content readily relatable by the school children. A lot of the content has been foreign which the children cannot readily relate with
