Ability to load-use content directly on cell phone?

Hello! In layman’s terms, is there a way to download-use Rachel content directly on an android cell phone, without having to setup-access to Rachel a server (on other device)?

I am going to share phone (preloaded with educational videos/content) + low cost projector + low cost solar battery with schools in remote Ugandan villages (no power nor internet), and am wondering if/how I could use the Rachel content directly on the phone. Sorry, but I am not a device IT expert, and have been unsuccessful trying myself, so any detailed instructions would be much appreciated.

Thank you!
Peter

Hi @peterjohnson

About 1/3rd of RACHEL content can be run without additional software running the backend (a web server, database, python, etc) - meaning you can download it straight to a phone and have it run.

That 1/3rd is largely available for download here Content Search - RACHEL

Another 50% or so is probably available by downloading apps from Kiwix and Kolibri (Learning Equality) each of which I believe offer android apps

Best,
Jeremy
