Bad Gateway 502 trying to open the local content hub

Hi,

I had a teacher trying to upload some videos to the Local Content hub and it worked the first time she uploaded some stuff. She said she’s not sure what happened, but now when we try to open the link “View and Upload Content” which takes us to the 192.168.88.1:8090 page, it just throws a “Bad Gateway” error:

502 Bad Gateway
nginx/1.10.3 (Ubuntu)

Thanks!

Hi @_Sovandy_Chomraoen,

It looks like they are trying to acess it via the capture portal address “my.content”. I suggest first going to the main RACHEL page, then clicking the “local content” link at the top. This will give you the direct address to Content Hub.

If you’re connected via WIFI, you can also go to http://192.168.88.1:8090 to access the page.

Hope that helps,
James

I did that, but It still shows this proplem. Please help

Can you please tell me which RACHEL OS version you’re on. It should be in the “Version” tab in the admin interface.

Device version.

Thank you. I suggest shutting the device down properly by pressing the power button once, or using the shutdown button from the admin user interface, then turning it on again. Once connected via wifi, navigate back to the http://192.168.88.1 page to see if RACHEL is available. Once that is confirmed, then click the local content link at the top of the page to get to content hub.

James

.

Thank you. I tried many times but it still shows this error.

Unfortunately there seems to be a bigger issues. I’ve put together a diagnostic zip that will help us determine what is happening. Here are the instructions to run it and get the log file to share.

  1. Download - zz-diagnose_contenthub.zip
  2. Connect to your RACHEL-Plus
  3. Log in to the admin panel
  4. Navigate to the “Settings” tab
  5. Where it says “Module Upload”, click browse and then select zz-diagnose_contenthub
  6. When it has completed, press the “Details” button
  7. Click the “Open Log” button
  8. Save this log to your device and please share it on the forums.

This will help us move forward and see what might be causing issues. Thanks

James

Thank you.
