I am interested in feedback, both pros and cons, for those using RACHEL at the moment in Ethiopia. I am traveling there soon to roll out some educational resource and I really like the concept this device can provide. With the limited recourse that I am able to take back and forth, I need to know what will work and what is a challenge before I get there.

Hands on trial / seeking input from Ethiopia

Hi Bill, Thank you for your response. And good to connect with an old friend of the country. Congrats on getting 20 of these systems installed. My parents were born in the rural parts so I have special affinity to students in rural areas. In my past several visits, there wasn’t reliable electricity nor internet connectivity. I’m interested to learn if you succeeded in implementing RACHEL in Ethiopia. Could you share your experiences? Specifically, what challenges did you face? Additionally, was RACHEL used alongside the local curriculum? If so, how seamless was the integration of RACHEL’s lessons with the existing curriculum? Our team is in the preliminary stages of planning to introduce RACHEL to a school in Ethiopia. If you have any information that you could share with us we would greatly appreciate it.
