Turing Foundation grants

For local organizations using RACHEL in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, D.R. Congo, Guinee, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Sierra Leone, and Togo–you may want to look into applying for the funding from the Turing Foundation, who specifically support education programs in those areas. A student using RACHEL in Sierra Leone came across them recently and they look like a great fit for our community: http://www.turingfoundation.org/aanvragen_edu_uk.html

I’m deploying among women faith leaders who serve their communities in DRC, Uganda and Nigeria. Not sure if this will fit, but will check it out -

I hope it works out! Let us know how it goes!

Do they have any relationship to the Turing Trust? https://turingtrust.co.uk/

That group deploys RACHEL fairly extensively I beleive.

Good point! I don’t think they are related, though. The Turing Trust, according to their website, is founded by Alan Turing’s family, and the Turing Foundation was founded by Pieter and Françoise Geelen in honor of Alan Turing (no relation).

Good to hear that you deploy Rachel in Nigeria. Please can you provide some insight on how you use Rachel in Nigeria.

Thank you
