Dear Khinelay,

Is it possible for you to also send me the steps that you took to create your own module?

Best regards

Hi Khinelay,

Great to hear that you have created your own module. I am from Papua New Guinea and actually struggling to develop my own module. Could you kindly provide a step by step instruction on how you developed your module. my email is laso.mana@gmail.com

Thank you so much for your help

Thank you. I spent two full days but still not luck. Your assistance would be very much appreciated.

already sent you an instruction. Hope it works.

To create a module for my static website,
I use this link, https://github.com/rachelproject/module-template.

  1. In I use the rachel-index.php, I added the module name, description, etc.
  2. Put that rachel-index.php into your static website.
  3. Give your static website folder a name. eg: ‘en-Japanstories’
  4. Put that folder into your RACHEL+ module’s folders.
That’s all for the module creation.

I use FileZilla to put the folder into my RACHEL+ using SSH.

How do you get past the log in page? I have recently purchased a new RACHEL and would like to create my own module but I dont have administrative rights.

Please advise me on how I can do this.

My email address is neddyt04@gmail.com

If possible, fly me the instructions via my gmail account.

Many Thanks,

Hi Khinelay,

May I get a quick help on how to use the module template. I have downloaded it in form of the text and I dont know how to edit it and add the module, What did you use as a static website? I would love to get a skype/ google hangout conference with you.

Khinelay,

I dont know how to proceed from here. Can you share your manouvre from here.
using filezilla

Hello Jseni,
I created the static website first. For example, I created the static website (index.html) to link Additional Math (pdf). If the pdf file size is huge, optimized reduce the file size.

After creating a static website, you need to add the rachel-index.php to show the modules in the homepage (192.168.88.1)

And then, upload it to the data> RACHEL> rachel > modules folder

Me too. I’m planning to create local content/ modules
My email mlumai@gmail.com

Go to the Modules folder and copy (can do a drag and drop) your static page contents. Your static page folder should have a index.html and the rachel-index.php file. Check this link for the template.
